Torino Pizza CafΓ© used to be one of my goβto spots on Staten Island, decent pizza, close by, reliable. But I donβt know what happened this past year because the service has become absolutely embarrassing. I placed an order at 4:49 PM. No headsβup about delays, no communication, nothing. I live literally 3β4 minutes away, maybe 2 if I hit the lights, so naturally I expected a normal 15β20 minute delivery. Instead, it took almost a full hour. I called twice. First time they told me βtwo minutes away.β Ten minutes later, still nothing. I called again and even said Iβd just come pick it up myself, they insisted the driver was βon the way.β Another ten minutes passed. Still no update, still no delivery. And let me be clear: this isnβt the first time. This is the third time this exact nonsense has happened. The first two times I tried to be patient and hold my tongue, but itβs absolutely ridiculous at this point. Update: I called again at 5:52 PM just trying to understand their thinking process because the communication is horrid. After about 40 empty apologies from the younger guy on the phone, he passed me to his boss. I asked a simple question: βIs the pizza even going to be warm?

Never been inside the location, but I religiously order every weekend when I'm at my fiancee's place. Their personal cheese pizza is ON POINT delish thin crust, perfectly crisp. The lentil soup is FIRE and the pastas are sooo good, and that chunk of bread they give with it #mmmmm. Also, the meatball roll and fried calamari are equally delish (I don't order it all at the same time, I switch them up.

Great spot for a slice. The regular has a little thinner crust than normal but the flavors are all there. Good to see a legit old school neighborhood pizza joint sticking around

Could Be Great, But They Missed the Mark I really wanted to like this place, but the experience was disappointing. Delivery took about an hour, and while the driver was friendly and professional, the food arrived cold and poorly packed. I asked for the cheese pie well done, but it showed up undercooked with a dry, floppy crust and no crisp at all. The grandma pie had the best flavor of everything I ordered, but unfortunately, it was cold too β which took away from what couldβve been a standout. The chocolate mousse was melted because it was packed next to the hot chicken francese. That same heat also ruined the cannoli, which arrived soggy. The garlic knots were dry and chewy, like they'd been sitting for a while. The chicken francese itself was moist but lacked seasoning, and the pasta it came with had little flavor and barely any sauce β felt rushed. Thereβs potential here β you can tell the recipes might work if more care was taken. But between the cold food, ignored instructions, and sloppy packing, they really missed the mark this time. Until they tighten things up, I probably wonβt be ordering again.

Exceptional experience! This pizza joint served up one of the best pies I've ever had. Kudos to the team! Considering it's my first visit to Staten Island, I'm already looking forward to coming back to try it again. Highly recommended!
